| Objective:Diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN) is one of the most common chroniccomplications of diabetes, which can lead to serious social burden. There is no specialtreatment for the disease in modern medicine currently. This paper mainly discusses the roleof blood stasis in the DPN process and to provide an important theoretical basis for thetreatment of DPN using promoting blood circulation to removing blood stasis method.Methods:The articles related with blood stasis, promoting blood circulation toremoving blood stasis and the DPN were searched in ancient Chinese medical books andCNKI, WANFANG DATA and VIP database. The correlation of pathogenesis and clinicalmanifestations in promoting blood circulation to removing blood stasis and the DPN wasobserved in this article. And to investigate the relationship between blood stasis andActivating blood and removing and microcirculation DPN and hemodynamic changes. Andthrough the clinical efficacy of cases to verify the effectiveness, feasibility and importance ofthe promoting blood circulation to removing blood stasis method of on the treatment of theDPN. We can affirm the clinical values of the blood circulation treatment on the DPN.Results:The combination of ancient and modern literature survey indicatesmicrocirculatory disturbances, slow blood flow, high whole blood viscosity, high plasmaviscosity, erythrocyte morphological abnormalities, and decreased deformation capacitypresenced in the process of DPN. Diabetes machine combined with yin-oriented, hot as thestandard, duration of falling gas caused the consumption Shangyin yin and yang qi deficiency.Blood stagnation veins made for congestion, congestion resistance in the context of the skin,such as the end of the card can be made into stasis as "blood Bi","Pulse Bi" and so on.
