Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) is a common gynecologicalendocrine diseases,which is characterized by persistent anovulation、hyperandrogenemia and polycystic ovarian changes, accompanied by insulinresistance and obesity. The specific clinical manifestations of PCOSinclude menstrual disorders, Infertility, acne and excessive body hairetc.Traditional Chinese medicine think that PCOS can be attributed to the“late period”,“hypomenorrhea”,“amenorrhea”,“infertility”diseasecategory,and believes that kidney deficiency,liver depression,spleendeficiency, phlegm and blood stasis are the basic pathogenesis。This thesis is aims at researching and summaring Academic thoughtabout the treatment of PCOS,through studing the related literatures andclassical theories of TCM on PCOS.Professor Wang Xin believes that "kidney deficiency, phlegm andblood stasis" is the basic pathogenesis of PCOS,which is based on her richexperiences on diagnosing and treating PCOS,and we should take regulatingyin and yang as the mian principle In the course of treatment. by meansof tonifying the Kidney to deals with its cause,eliminating phlegm andremoving blood stasis to deals with its symptoms. Mentor treat PCOS bythe original " Inhibiting Polycystic to Progesterone Decoction ",whichis created by varing classical prescriptions,and the decoction’s clinicaleffect is curative.
