Purpose:To observe the expression status of Cyclin families in breast cancer tissues; To compare the expression and its correlations with Cyclin G1 and Cyclin D1 in triple negative breast cancer(TNBC) and hormone-dependent breast cancer(HDBC) patients; To discuss the relationships between expressions of them with clinical and pathological status and survival conditions.Material and method:65 postoperative TNBC patients and 45 HDBC patients in Oncology Department of General Hospital of Shenyang Military Command were included in our research. The pathological specimens of research were taken in Pathology Department of General Hospital of Shenyang Military Command.10 from each group were selected randomly to extract RNA from tissues, which is used to choose specific Cyclin using RT-PCR.All breast cancer samples were tested by IHC method to get expression results, which were used to analyze combining with clinical records.Results:1. Expression of cyclin D1 were higher in TNBC tissues than HDBC tissues, with statistical significance(P<0.05).There were no significant difference in Cyclin A, Cyclin B and Cyclin E between TNBC and HDBC tissues. 2. Difference between high expression rate of Cyclin D1 in TNBC and HDBC were significant(52.3% VS 33.3%, P=0.049) 3. Expression of Cyclin G1 had significant correlations with menopausal status, lymph node metastases status,P53, and recurrence or metastases status, no significant correlations with body mass index(BMI),Ki67 status, differentiate degree, clinical status, age, and tumor size. 4. Expression of Cyclin D1 had significant correlations with menopausal status, lymph node metastases status,P53, and recurrence or metastases status, no significant correlations with body mass index(BMI),Ki67 status, differentiate degree, clinical status, age, and tumor size. 5. Expression of Cyclin D1 and Cyclin D1 had positve correlation. Conclusion:1. High expression of Cyclin G1 and Cyclin D1 in cyclin family in TNBC tissuse and HDBC tissues had significant difference, which could indicate these two may invove the occruence and development of TNBC.At the same time, other members of Cyclin family had no similar conclusions. 2. The expression status of Cyclin G1 and Cyclin D1 both had correlations with menopausal status, lymph node metastases status,P53, and recurrence or metastases status, no significant correlations with body mass index(BMI),Ki67 status, differentiate degree, clinical status, age, and tumor size. The combination of these two has the potential to become the prognostic factor of breast cancer patients. 3. Expression of Cyclin D1 and Cyclin D1 had positve correlation.
