| Objective To expiore the relationship of bone marrow serum Dickkopf-1 Level(DKK1) with myeloma bone disease(MBD), treatment efficacy and prognosis of multiple myeloma(MM), and to explore its clinical significance of DKK1.Methods 80 MM patients were selected who received treatment in Liaochen people’s hospital, form July 2007 to July 2014. These patients were divided different groups according ages, disease stages and M proteins types. The bone marrow serum Levels of s DKK1 were detected by enzyme-linked immunoadsordent assay technique in 80 patients with MM. The associations between the DKK1 Levels with MBD, efficacy and survival time were analyzed. Results Bone marrow serum levels of DKK1 was related to MBD, DKK1 Levels of patients with MBD 0-1 levels were lower than that with MBD 2-3 levels and MBD 4 levels(P<0.001), and DKK1 Levels of patients with MBD 2-3 levels were lower than that with MBD 4 levels(P<0.001). After treatment, patients obtained complete remission(CR) had decrease of DKK1 level(P<0.001), patients obtained partial remission(PR) had decrease of DKK1 level(P>0.05), patients obtained less PR had increase of DKK1 level(P>0.05). Patients with DKK1 ≤1.92ng/m L had longer overall survival time than that of >1.92ng/m L(53.9 months vs. 46.0 months), however it had no statistical significance(P=0.217).Conclusions Serum DKK1 level of MM patients had association with MBD, and DKK1 level of patients obtained remission was decreased and DKK1 may be associated to efficacy and prognosis. |
