| ObjectiveThe aim of the study was to investigate the relationship between the distributions of TCM types in coronary heart disease (CHD)and cholesterol, triglycerides, high and low density lipoprotein cholesterol and other laboratory indexes and the relationships between theintima-media thickness of the carotid artery, exploring the internal relation between them. So as to guide clinical treatment and reasonable intervention and improve the clinical curative effect.Methods171 patients with coronary heart disease(CHD)diagnosis standard, according to the 2002 "Chinese medicine new medicine clinical research guiding principles of traditional Chinese medicine" to Divide the CHD into eight kinds of syndrome type: qi deficiency and blood stasis resistance, blood stasis, qi and blood stasis and phlegm obstruction heart arteries and veins, Yin cold stagnate, qi and Yin deficiency, heart kidney Yin deficiency, sun be the spirit virtual failure; Western medicine diagnostic criteria reference to the western medicine internal medicine diagnostic criteria of the seventh edition in 2008 and the practical medicine in 2013; The diagnosis of dyslipidemia according to 2007 "Chinese adult dyslipidemia prevention guides ". Patients in each group were recorded general in formations, Lipid levels, and Carotid intima-media thickness, analyze the relationships between the TCM syndrome types of coronary artery disease, through the statistical tests, analysis the correlations between each other.Results1. The distributions of TCM syndrome types, the type of Phlegm heart arteries and veins has the greatest number of 50 cases with the proportion of 29.24%, the sun be the spirit virtual failure type in 16 cases with the proportion of 9.36% in 171 cases of CHD patients.2. CHD different TCM syndrome types in the course of the distribution are no differences (P>0.05), Most of the CHD each type courses distributed in the range of 0～10years.The longest courses qi and Yin deficiency type; the type of qi and blood stasis is the shortest.3.There is no statistical difference of each type in the course of the distribution (P> 0.05), the types in the age segments are mainly distributed in the range of 51～80 years old.4. TCM syndrome types of CHD were no statistically significant difference in BMI, but the cases of overweight and obese people are 56, and account for 32.7%.5. Comparing different TCM syndrome types and lipids:①The TC, LDL-C level in CHD between different syndrome types were statistically significant (P< 0.05).② From the overall trend, phlegm obstruction type heart arteries and veins of TC, TG, LDL-C average level on the high side, the other type level no difference between the average.③Difference between HDL-C level in every syndrome type has no statistical significance (P> 0.05).④The sun be the spirit virtual failure type lipid levels mean lower than other kind of this syndrome.6. Different TCM syndrome types and carotid intima-media thickness and carotid artery plaques distribution are no obvious differences (P> 0.05).Conclusion1.CHD patients with TCM syndrome type distribution, phlegm obstruction heart vein type number, the largest proportion, that phlegm heart vein type is one of the main syndrome type of coronary heart disease, phlegm obstruction heart arteries and veins also is one of the important risk factors of coronary heart disease.2. Most of the CHD each type courses distributed in the range of 0-10 years.3.The age segment of each type is concentrated in the range of 51-80 years old.4. CHD TCM syndrome types are overweight and obese people as the 56 cases, account for 32.7%. Although it means that there are no relationships between BMI and the syndrome types of traditional Chinese medicine, but with the improvement of people’s living, obesity has become the important risk factor of coronary heart disease, therefore, it’s important to control BMI positive and effective.5. Comparing different TCM syndrome types and lipid:The TC, TG, LDL-C average level of phlegm obstruction type heart arteries and veins are higher than others, means that the occurrence of coronary heart disease is closely related to the TC, TG, LDL-C, phlegmy wet block blood becomes the important factors who affect blood lipids.6. CHD in different TCM syndrome types in the carotid artery-membrane for 37 cases of normal and abnormal in 134, a plaque formation of 121 cases. Coronary heart disease (CHD) each type level has different extent of carotid artery IMT thickness and plaque formation.
