Study On Chemical Constituents

HanTaoye(S.kwangsiensis Merr. ex Li) is a member of family Schefflera.It is a traditional herbal medicine which is widely distributed the north of China.The constituent of HanTaoye are mostly included the terpene,organic acid,amino acid, hydroxybenzene,naphtha and saccharide et al.It had activities in ease pain,antioxidant,hypnogenesis and had been treated all kinds of ache which are brought by the trigeminal, sciatic, rheumatism, stomach convulsion, and so on.It is a kind of the folk medicine.Presently,on the basis of the literatures,it knows that there are a few of the chemical constituent and pharmacological activity of HanTaoye were reported,except for the simple organic acid which were isolated from the of HanTanye and the activity of ease pain and antioxidant.So,no matter what it is nessary that the basic research or application study,it is nessary that HanTaoye need be further studied making using of modern technology of separateness and icentifier,in order of discovering the active ingredient precursor of component.10 constituents were isolated from the water and ethanol distilled of HanTaoye by using column chromatograph,including silca column,rosin column,ODS column,and PTLC,PHPLC methods et al.On the basis of analysis of NMR,MS data and physico-chemical constants,the structures of 6 compounds were identified as following:Mucic acid (1), Fumaric acid(2),β-sitosterol(3),Ursolic acid(4),3-O-[α-L-rhamnopyranosy(1-2)-β-D-arabinopyranoside]-hederagenin (10),23,28-dihydroxy-olean-12(13)-en-3-O-α-L-rhamnopyranosy(12)[β-D-glucopyranosy(1→3)]-a-L-arabinopyrano side[α-L-arabinopyranoside(1→4)] (9)Compounds 3 and 4 were first isolated from this plant. Compounds 9,10 were first isolatec from this family.The review on the chemical constituent and pharmacological activity of Schefflera and HanTaoye,and the pharmacognosy characters or quality standard on basic of the literatures.
