Ganoderma lucidum is a treasure in our country's medicine. For long it has been called 'fairy herb' or 'lucky herb'. The active polysaccharides in G. lucidum are confirmed to have various biological functions. The polysaccharides of G. lucidum has the efficacy of scavenging oxygen free radical, anti-aging, anti-radiation, anti-mutation, anti-thrombosis, reducine blood sugar and so on, especially in immunological adjustment and anti-tumor. It has been reported that the polysaccharides from Ganoderma lucidum were able to age and kill the cancer cells by destroying the telomerases and the death rate could reach over 90%. And the polysaccharides had the capacity of increasing the contents of immunoglobulin and alexin, directly stimulating the lymphocyte to produce interleukin I and II, enhanceing the production of tumor necrosis factor, activating lick up function of macrophages and intensifying the activity of natural killer cells, all of which could improve body immunocompetence. At present, the identification of strains is still a main problem during production process of G. lucidum, because the quantity of strains used were so large that different strains were assigned with the same name or the same strain has different names. The traditional methods of classification are based on configuration which are difficult to reclassify the strains, so it is necessary to use molecular mark. The research was done to solve the two problems above, and the main results were as follows(1)Polysaccharides content varied among different strains in Germplasm Resource:①The content of polysaccharide in Strain.75 was highest(11.11%), which was 5.58 times of the control(grass-cultured G. lucidum) whose content of polysaccharide was 1.99%.②The content of polysaccharide in Strain.64 was 4.69% which was 2.36 times of the control.③The content of polysaccharide in Strain.67 (G. sinense) was 3.28% which was 1.65 times of the control.④The content of polysaccharide in Strain.69 (G. lucidum) was 2.48% which was 1.25 times of the control.⑤The contet of polysaccharide in Strain.27 was 2.44%, which was 1.23 times of the control.⑥The content of polysaccharide in Strain.15(G.tenus) was 2.06% which was 1.04 times of the control.⑦The content of polysaccharide in Strain.59(G.tsugae) was 1.22% which was 61.3% of the control.(2) Analysis of Scar Marker in Germplasm Resource①19 SCAR markers were obtained and 90 strains were classified into 10 groups according to the results of the clustering analysis under the distance value of 0.38.②Analysis of genetic distance showed that the similarity coefficients between strans16 and 22, among strains 19, 30 and 59, between strains 32 and 35, among strains 40, 69 and 77, between strains 44 and 78, among strains 54, 56 and 57 and between strains 58 and 70 were all 1. They were preliminarily suggested that the genetic relationship between those groups were quit close or there were the same strain has different names.
