| Objective: To study the relationship between TCM Syndrome-types of stroke and clinical quantitative evaluation. Methods: "Diagnostic Standards of Syndrome Differentiation on Stroke"and "Chinese Stroke Scale"were used to quantitatively assess 127 patients of Stroke. Meanwhile, to study the relationship between TCM Syndrome-types of stroke and clinical quantitative evaluation. Conclusion:①The TCM Syndrome-types of stroke were complicated. The common clinical Syndrome-types were composed of multi-basic Syndrome-types.②The simple Syndrome-type couldn't definitely reflect the level of neurological deficit. While the complex of multi-basic Syndrome- types, and the level of Syndrome-type could reflect it. Wind-attack Syndrome and Fire-heat Syndrome were valuable for judging the level of neurological deficit. ③The Concomitant disease score of wind-attack, Phlegm and Fire-heat Syndrome were significantly higher than that of the I opposite group. The Concomitant disease score of Blood stasis Syndrome and Hyperactivity of yang due to yin deficiency Syndrome were significantly lower than that of the opposite group. These four Syndrome- types, especially the wind-attack and phlegm Syndrome, were useful in studying the severity of concomitant disease. ④There were internal relations between anamnesis and the complex of multi-basic Syndrome- types.⑤Because of the complexity of TCM Syndrome-types of stroke, it's difficult to reflect the level of disease and prognosis when the cases were divided into deficiency and excess syndrome.⑥The classification of basic TCM Syndrome-types of stroke reflected the total change of disease. There were direct relationships among the level of Syndrome-type, the complexity of Syndrome-type and the level of disease.⑦Wind-attack, phlegm, fire-heat, Deficiency of qi Syndrome and the complex of the four basic Syndrome- types were of great value to judge the prognosis; there was unfavourable prognosis in the complex of multi-basic Syndrome-types, in other words, the complexity of Syndrome-types is useful in judging the prognosis. ⑧ According to the study, the prostration syndrome or Hyperactivity of yang due to yin deficiency Syndrome concurrent suffering from wind-phlegm was a severe type of stroke. |
