The results were analysised statistically.Result PSA was expressed diffusely in the cytoplasm and partly in the nuclei of the cancer cells.PSA was found in 23(52.27%) of 44 prostatic carcinoma samples, 16(80%) of 20 prostatic hyperplasia tissues . the positive rate of PSA in prostatic hyperplasia tissues was significantly higher than that in the prostatic carcinoma tissues. PCNA was expressed diffusely in the nuclei of the cells, the positive rate of PCNA in prostatic carcinoma tissues was significantly higher than that in the prostatic hyperplasia tissues. The expression of PCNA was different with different Gleason scores. Conclusion The expression of PSA was correlated inversely with Gleason scores and clinic grades, no significant correlation was observed between the expression of PSA and the PSA lever in sera. The expression of PCNA was correlated with Gleason scores, no significant correlation was found between the expression of PCNA and clinic grades .In short PSA and PCNA are useful markers for detecting prostatic carcinoma and predicting recurrence of prostatic carcinoma. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | prostatic, carcinoma, PSA, PCNA, Immunohistochemistry | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
