Study On The Relationship Of TCM Types Of NIDDM And Objective Indexes | | Posted on:2003-07-25 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:T Y Wu | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2144360092481612 | Subject:Basic Theory of TCM | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | Purpose:To study the relationship of TCM types of non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus(NIDDM) and the serum of nitric oxide(NO), Interleukin-6(IL-6),plasma granule membrane protein(GMIM40),and D-dimer(D-D).And also the changes of the respective index.Method:90Diabetes patients were randomly divided into three groups:Yin-dificiency with excess of heat group, deficiency of Qi and Yin group and stagnation of blood and Qi group.All the cases were phlebotomized venously 8ml under fasting condition in the moming.Serum No and IL-6 were determined by colorimetry and radioimmunoassay(RIA) method respectively.Plasma D-D and GMP-140 were determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. And also 30 subjects selected as control group were determined in the same way as above.Results: 1, The levels of GMP-140 and D-D in NIDDM patients were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.01). The values of GMP-140 and D-D in the NIDDM patients were elevated like this: Yin-dificiency with excess of heat group0.05).The value of IL-6 wasYin-dificiency with excess of heat groupcontrol group>deficiency of Qi andYin group>stagnation of blood and Qi group,the difference in every group is significant (P<0.05) .And the difference between the stagnation of blood and Qi group and the other three groups is much significant (P<0.01) .Conclusions: 1 x The fundamental factor in diabetes patients is diflciency of Qi.especially the dificiency of spleen and kidney.The change of NO in all the groups show that at the initial stage of NIDDM,the dificiency of Qi is not obvious.The value of NO rising is to protect itself. But with the development ol" the disease,lhe dificiency of Qi .especially the dificiency of spleen and kidney became more and more dificient,and the value of No failed more markedly.2, The levels of GMP-140 and D-D in NIDDM groups were significantly higer than that of the control group.
