The Initial Analysis Of The Serum Gastrin's Content In Patients With Different Types Of TCM In Asthma Attacking

Objective: By classifying thirty-seven patients of asthma attacking according to Bianzhen of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) and determining and analyzing their content of serum Gastrin,at the same time comparing with that of the normal control team, the study aimed at proving the possibility of setting up the quota of BianZhen by Zangfu-organs.To some extent,it wonld also offer objective basis for the theory of the relation between different Zangfu-organs and asthma in TCM.Objects and methods: To select thirty-seven patients(female14,male23) of asthma attacking and twenty normal persons (female8,male 12)strictly on the basis of diagnose criterion from the standard in diagnose and effect of TCM suggested by the department of administration of TCM,referring to branch of respiratory dieases of Chinese Medical Union, Bianzhen criterion from the combination of ((The principle in clinic study of TCP)) in 1993> the HuNan research institute of Integration of TCM and Modern Medicine in 1990 and type-classified criterion of liver-asthma from WuWeiPing in 1990 and criterion for elimination and normal control.There are 10 patients of liver-Qi depression type(group3),and 27 patients of not liver-Qi depression type ,which include 8 patients of phlegm-heat in lung type (group2), 11 patients of sputum from deficiency of the spleen type(group4) and 8 patients of deficiency of the kidney's Yin type(groupl) in asthmagroup.Determining their content of serum Gastrin according to the box of reagant by RIA method.Results: 1) There is marked difference between two groups of asthma attacking and normal control in the content of serum Gastrin by T' test.The former is lower than the latter; 2) By T and T' test ,there is marked difference between two groups of liver-Qi depression type and not liver-Qi depression type in the content of serum Gastrin,and the former is lower than the latter and the normal control group' s.There is no difference between the latter and the normal control group' s;3) There is marked difference among five different groups including asthma groups and the normal control group in the content of serum Gastrin by F test. In the asthma group, there is difference among three groups except group2 and group 1 in the content of serum Gastrin,and there is also difference between the four asthma groups and the normal control group except group2 and group 1 in the content of serum Gastrin. The content of serum Gastrin of group 4 is the lowest one in that of five groups;4)There is no relativity between the serum Gastrin' s content of asthma patients and their ages by correlation-analysis.Conclusions: 1) There is tight relativity between the asthma attacking of liver-Qi depression type and sputum from deficiency of the spleen type and the descend of level of serum Gastrin' s content. It is possibility that the content of serum Gastrin be used as a reference quota for the diagnose of asthma attacking of liver-Qi depression type and sputum from deficiency of the spleen type. And there is different zone in the descend of level of serum Gastrin' s content in the two different types. 2)The serum Gastrin may be the material basis for the theory of "liver-asthma"in TCM,and take part in the attack of asthma from " pulmary dieases from deficiency of the spleen".3) The descend of level of serum Gastrin' s content leaded to byspirit may take part in the attack of asthma that spirit gives rise to.4 ) There is no relativity between the serum Gastrin' s content of asthma patients and their ages.
