The Relationship Among P27, PCNA, Pathological Classification And Zheng Differentiation-classification Of IgA Nephropathy | | Posted on:2003-04-21 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:W Wang | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2144360092981621 | Subject:Chinese medical science | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | Objective: To observe the expression of P27 and PCNA form paraffin-embedded renal tissue sections of patients with IgA nephropathy and explore the relationship among P27, PCNA, pathological classification and Zheng differentiation-classification of IgA nephropathy.Methods: Apply renal biopsy to 48 cases of primary IgA nephropathy and the specimen of renal had been examined with routine pathological method and immunohistochemistry. All the patients with IgA nephropathy in the study were classified into threegroups based on Zheng differentiation-classification, such as liverkidney yin insufficiency, qi-yin asthenia and dampness-heart (TCM). The histological grade was divided into four grades.Results: 1.The number of PCNA+correlated with histological grade (rs= 0.336, P<0.05). A negative correlation was also found between P27+ and histological grade (rs= -0.563, P<0.01). 2. The histological grade of qi-yin asthenia is higher than that of dampness-heart (TCM) and the liver kidney yin insufficiency. There was no difference between dampness-heart (TCM) and the liver kidney yin insufficiency in statistic. 3. (1) The level of P27 in dampness-heart (TCM) was significant higher than that in qi-yin asthenia. ( 2 ) The level of PCNA in qi-yin asthenia was significant higher than that in dampness-heart (TCM). (3) The level of P27 in the liver kidney yin insufficiency was higher than that in qi-yin asthenia. (4) The level of PCNA in liver kidney yin insufficiency was higher than that in dampness-heart (TCM). In a word, the level of P27 in different Zheng differentiation-classification decreased according to the following sequence: dampness-heart (TCM), t liverkidney yin insufficiency, qi-yin asthenia. On the contrary, the level ofPCNA increased in the same sequence.Conclusion: 1. P27 and PCNA could be useful in grading renaldamage histologically and predicating progress of IgA nephropathy.2. The histological grade of different Zheng differentiation-classification was significant different. The histological grade of qi-yin asthenia is higher than that of dampness-heart (TCM) and liver kidney yin insufficiency. There was no difference between dampness-heart (TCM) and liver kidney yin insufficiency in statistic. 3.
