Clinical Observation On Treating Unstable Angina By Luomaishutong Granule

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Luomaishutong Granule on unstable angina. Methods: Sixty patients of coronary heart disease (CHD) with unstable angina were divided randomly into treatment group (31 cases) and control group (29 cases). Conventional western medical therapy was given to both groups.At the same time, the treatment group received Luomaishutong Granule and the control group received Tongxinluo Capsule. The changes of clinical symptoms and laboratory indexes in all the patients were observed before and after treatment. Results: In the treatment group, the total effective rate of relieving angina , improving ECG and meliorating symptoms were respectively 93. 55%, 93. 55% and 96. 77%;the corresponding remarkable rate were respectively 70. 97%, 35. 48%, 61. 29%, which were significantly better than those of the control group , P<0. 05. The level of TC, TG, bH, bL, P and Fbg were decreased remarkably in the treatment group, which were statistically different compared with those of the control group, P<0. 05 or P<0. 01. Meanwhile, the level of TXB2, ET,APTT, TT were decreased and the level of NO was increased remarkably after treatment, which were statistically different compared with those before treatment. Conclusion: The phlegm and the stasis are the critical palhogenesis of unstable angina. The method of clearing heat transforming phlegm and dispelling stasis and freeing the network vessels is a main therapeutic method with positive effect.
