Based on the theory of traditional Chinese medicine the principles of the formulation of WD and its effects and theories, We disassembled the WD into different compositions and observed their effects on the amount and the affinity of D2 receptor in caudate putamen(Cpu) of rats, and contrasted them with the group using chlorpromazine (CPZ). The results have indicated:1 .The complete WD and CPZ both obviously reduced the Bmax and KD of D2 receptor (P<0.01), but the effect of CPZ was obviously supperrior to WD (P<0.01 or P<0.05).2.The group of expelling phlegm (EP) and regulating the flow of Qi (RFQ) lowered the Bmax of D2 receptor(P<0.05) , but had nothing to do with the Kn(P>0.05). The group of EP and invigorating the spleen to clear away pathlogic damp (ISCAPD) and the group of RFQ andISCAPD had nothing to do with the Bmax and KO of D2 receptor. All mentioned above indicate that WD could lower the amount and raise the affinity of D2 receptor, and it might have antischizophrenic function mainly by blocking D2 receptor. The Chinese mecidine of EP and RFQ is the essence of WD, leading the whole formulas. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Wendan Decoction, schizophrenica, dopamine receptor, EP, RFQ, ISCAPD, Cpu, rat | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
