The Clinical Study Of Ectopic Pregnancy Treated With Integration Methotrexate And Traditional Chinese Herb

Objective To research the clinical effect of the therapy of integration methotrexate (MTX) and traditional Chinese herb (TCH ) for treating ectopic pregnancy (EP) .Methods 139 cases of EP were divided into two groups at random. The control group with 69 cases was treated by employed MTX.The treated group with 70 cases was employed MTX and TCH .In the study, to observe the changes of clinical symptoms and signs, the level of serum 3 -HCG and the size of adnexal mass by abdominal ultrasound between the two groups. To compare the time of decreasing normal level of serum -HCG, the disappearance of the adnexal masses and the restoration of normal menstruation and the period of hospitalization between the groups.Result (1)The success rate of the treated group which was 97.14% was greater than that of the control which was 84.06%.The difference of the two groups was significant(P<0.01). (2) The average decreasing rate of 3 -HCG after employed three days in the treated is 20.83% 22.46%. The average timeof serum -HCG restoring to normal level which was(17.41 10.12)days, the disappearance time of the adnexal masses which was(37.17 17.26)days, the average time of restoring menstruation which was(28.37 7.87)days, the period of hospitalization which was(23.77 10.57)days in the treated were obviously shorter than those of the control which were respectively (27.32 11.62)days, (59.22 25.01)days, (34.84 8.91)days and (33.22 11.33)days. There were significant differences between the groups(P < 0.005). (3)The incidence of surgery after rupturing was respectively 16.67% (the treated) and 84.62% (the control).Conclusion (1) The cure effect of the therapy of combining MTX and TCH was superior to that of employing MTX alone. In addition, the side effects of the therapy were low. (2) The therapy was adjusted more cases. (3) The cases which hemodynamics was stable although there was sign of bleeding were still conserved. (4) Being fetal heart beat was not the contraindication for conservative treatment of EP.
