C-jun was expressed in 26 of 50 pancreatic carcinoma (52%), In contract, no expression of c-jun in non-tumor pancreatic tissues was detectable (P < 0.01). There were statistically significant correlation between Survivin and PTEN. The analysis of single factor revealed that the expression of Survivin and PTEN was significantly related with the prognosis of patients. Conclusion A high expression of Survivin PTEN and c-jun in pancreatic carcinoma suggests that they may play an important role in the developmentof pancreatic carcinoma. Detection of these proteins has positive effects on early diagnose, malignancy determination, prognosis and treatment of pancreatic carcinoma. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | pancreatic carcinoma, Survivin, PTEN, c-jun, Apoptosis | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
