Comparison Of Domestic And Import Propofol To Pharmacodynamics Of Consciousness Level

Objective: Using bispectral analysis of quantitative EEG to assess the sedation effects of domestic and import propofol infusion. Methods: Sixty ASA I ~ II patients undergoing elective radical operation for mammary cancer,were randomly allocated into two groups with thirty cases each:domestic propofol group and import propofol group.General status of two groups'patients was identical.Abolus of 2.5mg/kg domestic or import propofol was given IV with 40mg/kg velocity.Real time BIS, SBP, DBP, HR, SpO2,the lowest BIS,the time of BIS reaching to the lowest and the time of BIS reaching to 80 were recorded and compared between the two groups.Results:(1)The two groups were comparable regard to age, body weight, surgical duration,the baselines of BIS, SBP, DBP, HR and SpO2(P>0.05). (2)With increasing propofol infusion rate,there was a progressive decrease in the BIS(P<0.01).The lowest BIS of domestic propofol was 30.77+6.16,the time of BIS reaching to the lowest was 1.60+0.18min;the lowest BIS of import propofol was 32.93+5.15,the time of BIS reaching to the lowest was 1.62+0.18min.There was no significantly difference between the two groups(P>0.05).After BIS decreased the lowest,BIS increased gradually.The time of BIS reaching to 80 in domestic propofolgroup was 11.64+0.53min, in import propofol group was11.81+0.48min.There was no significantly difference between the twogroups,too(P>0.05).The effects of SBP, DBP,SpO2 in two groups were nosignificantly differences(P>0.05).Conclusions: The changes of the BIS can reflect the sedation effects ofpropofol after bolus injection and it is available to monitor the depth ofsedation by the BIS during propofol anesthesia.The effects of sedation ofdomestic propofol and import propofol were identical by BIS. They bothhave better sedation effects.
