Effect Of Different Dosage Of Astragalus Injection And Chuanxiong Injection On Growth And Metastasis Of Cancer

To observe the effect of high, middle and low dosage of Astragalus injection on mice lewis lung cancer and metastasis of the cancer. Sixty mice of lewis lung cancer were randomly divided into five group: the group received Astragalus of dosage in 50g/kg, the group received Astragalus of dosage in 10g/kg, the group received Astragalus of dosage in 2g/kg, the group received CTX and the control group .Weighting the tours with cancer of the mice ten days later. Counting the amount of the metastasis on the lungs of the mice and examing CD4+Tå’ŒCD8+T lymphocytes around the foci of the metastasis four weeks later. It was found that the inhibition rate on the mice Lewis lung cancer of the Astragalus groups were: 12.35%,9.26%,4.57% ,and the inhibition rate on metastasis of the cancer of the Astragalus groups were: 11.45%,2.23%,0%. The infiltration of CD4+T lymphocytes around the foci of cancer metastasis increased and CD4+/CD8+ also increased. It was proved that there were no promotion of high, middle and low dosage of Astragalus injection on the mice lewis lung cancer and metastasis of the cancer .The higher the dosage of Astragalus injection, the more obvious the inhibition rate on mice Lewis lung cancer and metastasis of the cancer. So the more high dosage of Astragalus injection should be used in cancer clinic. To observe the effect of high, middle and low dosage of Chuanxiong injection on metastasis of the mice K111 melanoma. Sixty mice of K111 melanoma were randomly divided into five group: the group received Chuanxiong (30%)of dosage in 40ml/kg, group receivedChuanxiong(30%) of dosage in 8ml/kg, group received Chuanxiong(30%) of dosage in 1.6ml/kg ,the group received CTX, the control group. Counting the amount of the metastasis on the lungs of the mice and observing concentrations of t-PA in the metastasis four weeks later. It was found that the inhibition rate on metastasis of the cancer of the Chuanxiong groups were: 1.9%,0%,0%,and concentrations of t-PA in the metastasis of Chuanxiong (30%)of dosage in 40ml/kg were decreased. It was proved that there was no promotion of high, middle and low dosage of Chuanxiong injection on the metastasis of the mice K111 melanoma. So it is safety to use the Chuanxiong in cancer clinic.
