| ABSTRACT: Purpose:Abdominal two-dimensional ultrasonograph and Color Doppler power imaging (CDPI) and pulsed Doppler have confirmed if there is an association Between deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and some abdominal diseases , and help clinic treated DVT patients.Methods:We retrospectively 378 DVT patients from march 01,2003 to march 01, 2005. We employed HP-5500 and Acuson . 128XP/10 A. R. T color Doppler computed sonograph , the frequency of the probe was 2.5-3.5MHz, 5MHz, 7.5MHz, the angle between the sound beam and flow was smaller than 60 degree . We measured the lower DVT patients from foot to breast , We detected if there were abnominal diseases by abnominal Sonography that associated with DVT. If there were abnominal diseases ,we tested these were direct causes or indirect causes, by the relation between abnominal diseases and IVC(Inferior Vena Cava), CIV ( Common Iliac Vein) 。 To direct causes we measured the diameters of the narrows between the abnominal diseases and CIV or IVC, we measured the characters of Doppler flow of narrowed vein and we contrast them to the normals. At last we detected the lower deep vein of the patients those erasered the abnominal diseases and contrast to before.Results:378 patients were diagnosed DVT by ultrasonography . 68 (18%)patients' abnominal diseases associated with DVT, direct causes were 52(13.7%) patients, indirect causes were 16 (4. 3%)patients. Malignent tumors were found in 39(10.3%) patients, benign tumors were found in 13 pentients (3.4%), Congenital Iliac vein compression were found in 11 patients(2.9%), Budd—Chiaris syndromes were found in 4 patients(1.1%), Mucinous cystadenoma Of Ovary weeping in pelvic cavity were found in 1 patient(0.3%). We found the color signals of the blood flow of the patients in the narrowed IVC or CIV become bright ;and it became weak in the longer narrowed IVC or CIV .the diameters of the narrowed IVC were 0.9 ± 0.5cm , the velocities of the narrowed IVC were 60 ± 20cm/s, there were obviously differets with health IVC (diameters were 2.0 ± 0. 4cm , velocities were changable with heart beating , p<0.05.the diameters of the narrowed CIV were unchangeable 0.8 ± 0.4cm , the velocities of the narrowed CIV were 65±20cm/s, there were obviously differets with health CIV (diameters were 1. 5 ±0. 5cm , velocities were 40 ± 20 cm/s p<0.05. The distance of narrowed IVC or CIV became widen , the velocities were became slow. We couldn't detect the signals of blood flow in the obliterated lumen. We detected 30 DVT patients' lower deep vein who erased abnominal diseases. We found the lower deep vein thrombosis were differet from before.Conclusions:We employed the high frequent probe and abnominallower frequent probe together, We not only diagnosed DVT, but alsofound abdominal diseasesAnd the relations of abdominal diseases and IVC or CIV. There arerelations between abdominal diseases and lower deep veinthrombosis by Abnomiral Sonography. |
