| Objective To review and analyse the curative effect for lumbar fusion to treat degenerative lumbar disease.Method Through retrospective research for clinical effect on 138 patients who had suffered from degenerative lumbar disease mostly or had suffered from lumbar trauma in a small numbers and who had been treated by lumbar fusion in the department of orthopedics of the hospital pertain to medical college of Qingdao University,the clinical effect is analyzed according to the assessment scale proposed by the Japanese Orthopaedic AssociationAt the same time,the success ratio of the lumbar fusion in different phases after operation is observed from X-ray photogragh data.Result The marks of the subentrys of the JOA assessment scale in the different phases after lumbar fusion of the 138 patients are increase. The success ratios of the lumbar orthopedic fusion in 6 ,12months after operation and now are 77.54%, 81.88%åŠ 86.96% The success ratios of the lumbar orthopedic fusion in the patients experiented pure PLIF operation using their ilium in 6 ,12months after operation and now are 81.54%, 86.15%2åŠ 87.69%; The success ratios of the lumbar orthopedic fusion in the patients experiented pure PLIF operation not using their ilium in 6 ,12months after operation and now are 63.04%, 67.39%.åŠ. 78.26%Conclusion The clinical effect on 138 patients is obvious after lumbar fusion,and the success ratio of the lumbar orthopedic fusion is rather higher.The reasons for the success ratio of the lumbar orthopedic fusion are probably summed up to be: the sturdy inner fixation,the enough long lay up time,the small figures of the Asia-Pacific people,the ideal construction of the surface the graft-bone to be replanted on,the abundance quantity of the graft-bone,the fair quality of the graft-bone,the operation manipulation conform to the standard,the fair good quality of the inner fixation instrument be accepted by the body,the Chinese herbal medicine taken by the patients. |
