| post-stroke anxiety disorder, (PSAD) is the more commonly encountered complication of stroke. The typical symptoms are sadness, anxiety, poor concentration, anorexia, insominia and even suicide. The etiology and pathogenesis of this disease are very complicated and still not totally known. PSAD is classified as"YU Zheng" and "Dian Zheng" in the category of Traditional Chinese Medicine.Now clinical physicians can estimate anxiety by using some kinds of anxiety -rating-scales. In this paper Hamilton Anxiety Scale,Hama is used observe 63 patients in post stroke anxiety. These patients are randomly divided into two groups. The treatment group was given acupuncture therapy while the control was given anti-anxiety drug, Prozac after 1 month, evaluate the results by statistical analysis. The results show: the total validity rate of acupuncture treating group is 84% while the control's total validity rate is 83.8%, (P>0.05) The facts above indicate that PSAD treated with acupuncture therapy get a effect which is not better than that of the control's.The acupuncture therapy is a new safe treating method that has curative effect and reliable in treating stoke as well as PSAD .It has very important application value. |
