| BackgroundStroke belongs to cerebrovascular disease.Due to its high disability rate, high mortality rate and the high rate of relapse,post-stroke anxiety disorders(PSAD).It’s hard for patients to insist to achieve treatment, because of the anxiety disorder.PSAD could increase the rate of hospitalization, the lengths of hospital stay and the death rate,in some degree,it ‘s bad for paitients ‘ recovery. There’s a lot of medical researches both in traditional medicine and in western medicine. But it’s hard to find some research about treating PSAD with electric acupuncture and ear seeds.Becase of the side-effect of the anti-anxiety medication and the long term of oral drug taking, the antianxiety medication has its limitation in clinical treatment. In the opposite, treating PSAD with electric acupuncture and ear seeds is easier for paitent to accept for its curative effect, and it has less adverse reaction.Using the scale of HAMA and SAS helps to PSAD’s early detection, helps to therapeutic effects, helps to decrease death rate.Above of,It’s meaning to research the clinical efficacy of treating PSAD with acupuncture and ear seeds after four weeks and the half year past PSAD.ObjectiveAccording to the theory of the TCM acupuncture and the lots of literature in the Internet,We find out that treating PSAD with acupuncture and ear seeds is significant.By using the method of random control research, patients were divided into two groups. In the treatment group,we select the acupoints of Baihui Yintang Sishenchong Taiyang Shenmen Neiguan and the auricular point of Brain Heart Shenmen Jiaogan Pizhixia. In the while, both of the groups were treated with the oralmedication--paroxetine.After four weeks and half of a year,we evaluate the effect of treating PSAD with acupuncture and ear seeds and the oral medication—paroxetine by analyzing the scale of HAMA SAS BI.Method90 cases of PSAD were from the neurology department and the acupuncture department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of TCM during the time of 2016.12 to 2017.12.All the cases were randomly divided into the No.1 treatment gourp,No.2 treatment gourp and the control group. The No.1 treatment gourp was treated with electric acupuncture and ear seeds, and the No.2 treatment gourp was treated with electric acupuncture and ear seeds and the oral medication—paroxetine while the control group was only treated by the oral medication. After four weeks and half of a year,we evaluate the effect of treating PSAD with electric acupuncture and ear seeds and the oral medication—paroxetine by analyzing the relevance between the scale of HAMA SAS BI with the PSAD.ResultsComparing the scale of HAMA and SAS,the No.2 treatment group has the better curative effect than the No.1 treatment group. In the No.2treatment group,2 cases were clinical controlled,15 cases were significant effective,10 cases were effective while 2cases were invlaid. As a result, the overall efficience rate is 90%.As the time goes, the score of HAMA sacles and SAS in No.2 treatment group is decreasing more significantly after 2weeks,significantly different from the other two groups, which means the onset time is in 2weeks,shorter than than the other two groups.Comparing with the EI index, the No.2 treatment group was dereasing more significantly than the No.1 treatment gourp and the control group. The negative correlation between SAS scale and BI index shows that SAS score is lower when BI index is higher. There is 6 cases with side effect while there is only 1 case in the No.1 treatment group and 1 case in the No.12 treatment group.ConclusionAll groups can releave anxiety symptoms,in which the No.2 group has better efficacy and shorter onset time than the No.1 group and the control group with less adverse reactions.Treating PSAD with electricacupuncture and ear seeds has the function of adjusting Yinyang, promoting blood circulation and regulating viscera function, meanwhile it can improve anxiety symptoms. It is more easier for patients to accept the No.2 treatment because it is more effective, more cheaper, and has less side effect than the other two groups. |
