Purpose : In order to discuss the changing rules and influential factors of adult's bone mineral density, this research has carried on the bone mineral density to test the adult in Suzhou, and has carried on questionnaire investigation to influential factors. Results of this study can offer relevant data materials that Suzhou declares " health city of the world ". Methods : The test of the density of ultrasonic bone of calcaneum for the adults has been made by choosing 20-65 years old persons in the area of Suzhou, including 1275 of men, 1220 of women, and 2495 ones altogether. Then Survey of its life style, eating habit and movement situation has been taken by means of questionnaire investigation and direct interview. On this basis, someones was chosen at random to carry on the test of blind stand on single foot and vertical jump, and relative research on the density of bone and the results of this test have also been made further. The experimental results have been analysed by adopting the software of SPSS12.0. Results: (l)Suzhou has obvious sex differences in BMD, SOS and BQL, and men are much higher than women.. (2) The osteoporosis of fatalness will increase with age, and women are obviously higher than men. (3) The vertical jump correlation with BUA and BQI is higher than blind stand on single foot with BUA and BQI. (4) Low weight is the one of risk factors to produce osteoporosis. Retaining one's appropriate weight will do good to prevent osteoporosis. Conclusions: (l)The density of adult's bone of Suzhou and intensity of bone obviously have sex differences, and men are obviously higher than women. (2)Adult's osteoporosis incidence of Suzhou has obvious sex differences, women's osteoporosis incidence is higher than men. (3) The higher of vertical jump, the bigger of BMD and BQI. The fracture of fatalness will decline. (4) The sunlight of long time can promote the forming of the active vitamin D, thus can improve the absorption of the calcium and achieve the goal of improving bone quantity; The sufficient calcium can prevent osteoporosis from occurring ; It is a dangerous factor which cause osteoporosis to drink and smoke. (5) The correlation concerned about calcaneus with height, weight, BMI and Quetlet index is: weight> Quetlet index >height>BMI. Weight has the strongest influence on the BMD and BQI, while BMI has the weakest one.
