Clinical Research Of Hua Tan Jie Yu Tang In Treating Insomnia

Objective:To study the clinical effects and mechanism of Hua Tan Jie Yu Tang Decoction from theoretical,clinical aspects on the grounds of summing up the documentation and clinical experience by integrating TCM and modern research. Methods: 32 cases of insomnia with TCM syndrome of binding depression of phlegm-heat and qi are treated with Hua Tan Jie Yu Tang Decoction.The changes of TCM sign and SAS,SDS,PSQI scores are observed. Results:After 4 weeks'treatment, The clinical observations show that the total effective rate is 90.63%, the total effective rate of sleep quality is 78.12%, the total effective rate of TCM sign is 84.37%. The differences between after and before treatment at the aspects of PSQI,SAS,SDS and TCM sign scores are very significant or significant. Conclusions: Hua Tan Jie Yu Tang Decoction has the actions of transform phlegm and clear heat,resolve depression and quiet the spirit.It is obviously effective on the treatment of insomnia with TCM syndrome of binding depression of phlegm-heat and qi.
