Clinical Research Of Sheng Gan Yang Shen Tang In Treating Insomnia

Objective:To study the clinical effects and mechanism of Sheng Gan Yang Shen Tang Decoction from the oretical,clinical aspects on the grounds of summing up thedocumentation and clinical experience by integrating TCM and modern research.Methods:64 cases of insomnia are treated with sheng Gan Yang Shen Tang Decoction.The changes of TCMsign and PSQI,SAS,SDS scores are observed.Results:After 4 weeks'treatment,Theclinical observations show that the total effective rate is 87.50%,the total effective rateof sleep quality is 78.12%,the total effective rate of TCM sign is 84.37%.The differences between after and before treatment at the aspects of PSQI,SAS,SDS andTCM sign scores are very significant or significant.Conclusions:Sheng Gan Yang Shen TangDecoction has the actions of transform phlegm and clear heat,resolve depression andquiet the spirit.It is obviously effective on the treatment of insomnia.
