| In the thesis, the historical and present researches were summarized, and the general morphological identification and fauna characters of blood-sucking diptera insects in Hebei province were mentioned. The blood-sucking diptera insects, collected from Hebei Province, were normally identified and studied on their phylogenic characters. Using the relevant classification system, the classification and fauna analysis were carried out for the blood-sucking diptera insects collected from 11 different regions, including Handan, Xingtai, Shijiazhuang, Baoding, Hengshui, Cangzhou, Langfang, Tangshan, Qinhuangdao, Chende, Zhangjiakou cities in Hebei Province.More than 4000 individual insects were collected from 37 settled collecting spots and made into specimen. Blood-sucking diptera insects from 5 families, including Culicidae, Ceratopogonidae, Tabnidae, Simulidae, Phlebotomidae, 15 genera, 57 species were recorded. Among them, 18 newly recorded species of Hebei Province were listed as follows: Mansonia Ochracea Theobald, 1903, Aedes Excrucians Walker, 1856, Aedes flavidorsalis Luh et Lee , 1975, Aedes cataphylla Dyar, 1916, Aedes cinereus Meigen, 1818, Aedes Peipingensis Feng, 1938, Aedes crossi Lien ,1967, Culex infantulus Edwards, 1922, Armigeres Annulipalpis Theobald, 1900;6 species of Tabnidae: they are Haematopota antennata Shiraki, 1932, Haematopota kansuensis Krober, 1933, Haematopota koryoensis Shiraki, 1932, Haematopota hedini Krober, 1934, Tabanus coreanus Shiraki , 1932, Tabanus buddha Portschinsky , 1887;2 species of Ceratopogonidae, they are Lasiohelea taiwana Shiraki, 1913, Leptoconops bezzii Noe, 1905;one species of Simulidae, it is Simulium (Simulium ) reptans,1758.According to the specimen and the references, a directory of the blood-sucking diptera insects in Hebei Province was listed, including 40 specieses of Culicidae, 46 specieses of Tabnidae, 19 specieses of Ceratopogonidae, 3 specieses of Simulidae, and 4 specieses of Phlebotomidae. Keys to genera and species of blood-sucking diptera insects were worked out, and the fauna was primarily analyzed as well. The results showed thatthe Culicidae and Tabnidae were the dominant populations in plain of Haihe;the Ceratopogonidae was the dominant population in Plateau of Zhangbei-Weichang, but the fauna of Simulidae and Phlebotomidae were not clearly investigated. With respect to the lack of relevant background data in Hebei Province, the investigation of blood-sucking diptera insects were carried out, which greatly enriched the contents about species and the regional distribution in Hebei Province, and provided fundamental materials and scientific basis for prevention and control of the anthophilous disease, especially for the anthophilous disease and biological-terrorist-attacks in public health emergencies. Accordingly, the research had important social benefits and strategic significance. The specimens were kept in Medical Entomology Collection Gallery, College of Plant Protection, Agriculture University of Hebei. |
