| As a major public health and social problem, occupational hazards caused health damage to the workers and directly or indirectly influences to the enterprises, national and global economies. With the reform and opening up for 20 years, China's overall national strength has doubled, but with the rapid development of industrialization across the country, we are soberly aware that China's occupational health work is facing many new challenges.Hebei Province is one of the high incidences of occupational diseases in China. In recent years, due to the rapid economic development, the increasing number of small and medium enterprises, labor and employment and regulatory work in various forms, negative and other factors, there was a serious occupational disease mass events in some places, leading to a very serious occupational hazards in flow workers, peasants workers and other vulnerable groups. According to preliminary statistics, Hebei Province, a total of 20287 enterprises have occupational hazards, access to occupational health hazards to workers reached 1.698 million people.Occupational hazards in Hebei Province mainly in coal, metallurgy, petrochemical, building materials, chemical industry, light industry, ceramics, pharmaceuticals, textiles, machinery manufacturing and other industries. There are 17796 cases of suffering from pneumoconiosis in the province, the cumulative number is 30,163. The number of cases of pneumoconiosis ranks sixth in the case, fatality rate ranks second.Occupational disease prevention and control works related to the majority of workers health and safety and to the sustainable economic and social development, which is a necessary requirement to implement the scientific development concept and building a socialist harmonious society. Based on the survey data in the occupational hazards in Hebei Province, from different angles and different levels of analysis and finally put forward the countermeasures for prevention and control occupational hazards.
