The Clinical Study Of Treating The Non-Traumatic Osteo-Necrosis Of Femoral Head With Huo Xue Jian Gu Tang

Non-traumatic osteonecrosis of femoral head (NONFH) is a common and difficult disease in osteopathy clinic which is difficult to be treated. There is no record of "NONFH" in TCM. The difficult part of treatment is because its pathological reason is not very clear yet. This dissertation reviews the relative documents about treatment of TCM and Western medicine of NONFH, based on studying the aetiological factor and pathological mechanism of this disease and summarizing therapeutic experience of Chinese and western medicine , according to the theory of non-traumatic osteonecrosis of femoral head using self-made Huo Xue Jian Gu Tang to treat the forepart NONFH with core decompression and bone transplantation. After the observation we can prove that Huo Xue Jian Gu Tang is effective at least in short term, it can alleviate the pain of the patient, accelerating bone remodeling, but the long-term effect needs further study. Meanwhile provides problems during the research, and exploring in the future. Corticosteroid is the first factor, alcoholic is the second. But in recent years, there are more and more patients cause by alcoholic, and it always accompany with smoking. So we should strengthen the study of popular science to doctors and nurses, treat disease by hormone carefully, and give publicity to the high risk people to preventing the NONFH.
