Objective: Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC)is a well-known tumor for its higher invasive or metastatic activity and bad prognosis. It help to elucidate the mechanism of origin and metastasis of HCC to investigate the angiogenesis and relationship between angiogenesis factors and HCC, and it will provide theoretic basis for diagnosis judging the stage of HCC and predicting the prognosis, finding new method of tumor therapy. MVD( Micro vessel density)is widely used to evaluate the angiogenesis of a tumor. It is reported that MVD counted by CD105 is related to metastasis and prognosis of many kinds of tumor. The Matrix Metalloproteinas (MMP)and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)play critical roles in the process of development ,invasion, metastasis in many kinds of tumor. Furthermore, they can be used to judge malignant degree and predict prognosis. A study in the vitro indicated that the tow factors have a synergism in the induction of angiogenesis. But there have been few on their relationship to hepatocellular carcinoma. The respective effect and their synergism in the vivo are still unknown. In the present study, we detected the expression of...
