Objective To investigate the expression of Survivin mRNA and NF-кB mRNA and their relationship with the clinicopathologic character in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) .Methods The expression of Survivin mRNA and NF-кB mRNA in HCC and matched-adjacent liver tissue were examined by Taqman pobe Real-time RT-PCR. Results The expression level of Survivin mRNA in HCC tissues is higher than that in nomal liver tissues and in matched-adjacent liver tissues respectively, there are statistical significance between them(p<0.05);The expression level of NF-кB mRNA in HCC and matched-adjacent liver tissues is higher than that in nomal liver tissue respectively, there are statistical significance among them(p<0.05); The expression of Survivin mRNA and NF-кB mRNA have a positive correlation in HCC(r=0.315, p<0.05);By statistically analysis, there was no relationship among Survivin mRNA and TNM stages, portal vein invasion, AFP,HBsAg,sex and age,Neither of NF-кB mRNA.Conclusions High expression of Survivin mRNA and NF-кB mRNA in HCC tissues suggests that they probably play an important role in the origin and development of HCC; The expression of NF-кB mRNA and Survivin mRNA has a positive correlation, which indicates that they may have a synergistic effect in the origin and development of HCC.
