The Components Analysis And Function Evaluation Of The Flower Of Coptis Chinensis Franch.

Coptis chinensis Franch. is a famous Chinese traditional medicine in all ages, with many functions such as detoxification, antivirus, lowering hyperglycemia, lowering hyperlipidemia, antitumour, etc. Shizhu Country in Chongqing is the biggest Coptis base, and the Coptis root output is about 1,200,000- 1,500,000 Kg per year. The Coptis blossoms from the second year of transplanting. The extressive growth of flower is believed to rudece the quality and yield of Coptis root.In this respect the flower used to be removed annually except the fifth year for reserving seed for planting. The report on Coptis about planting, component analyzing, pharmacology and so on is exhaustive. But the study of the flower of Coptis chinensis Franch. (FCC) haven't been reported yet. The output of Coptis flower in this base is about 300,000 Kg per year. If we can exploit and utilize these resources, it will bring out great economic and social benefit.This article studied from the byproduct of Coptis chinensis Franch. After determined the contents of berberine, alkaloid , amino acids and mineral elements, the FCC was chose to be the final study object in this paper. The FCC compound was determined by orthogonal test .This compound substance doesn't decrease the content of effective component. The content of the ordinary nutriment in the compound was determined. To evaluate the safty of Coptis flower, acute toxicity test was carried out according to Chinese FDA regulations.The FCC compound s has effect on loosing the bowel to relieve constipation by belly-bound mice model and antipyretic effect by feverish rat model. The experimental results are showed as follows:The experiments results are showed as follows:(1) The contents of alkaloid and berberine in the flower were1.31% and 0.41%; in fibre were 6.28% and2.06%; in leaf were 1.86% and 0.79%.(2) The flower is abundant in amino acids , which is 17.53% in dried flower, and the essential amino acids is 39.1 % of total amino acids.(3) The flower is also abundant in mineral elements.The contents of K, Ca, Fe, Mg, Cu, Zn, Mn, Ni are 2893,870.33, 572.5, 1137, 16.33, 208.67, 11.67, 0.013mg/kg, respectively .The element Pb is 0. 06 mg·Kg^-1. lower than the national limiting standards of Pb in food.(4) The best ratio of compound by orthogonal test is the flower:ingredient B: ingredient...
