The Expression Of Nucler Factor-κB Protein With Atherosclerosis

Objective To study the association of the the expression of NF-kB protein at the plaque of human aorta with the risk factors of AS and the severity of coronary artery stenosis ;to find out the relationship of the NF-kB espression with AS and coronary heart disease.Methods 31 patients who underwent coronary artery bypass graft(CABG)and coronary angiography (CAG) were taken as the study group(28 men ,3 women) EaTC patients should take a tissue form his ascending aorta during CABG ,all the tissue must be defined as the early stage of AS with HE coloration and then the NF-kB expression was tested by the immunohistoTCemical assay.All the patients should note age, gender, smoking history and so on. The next morning after hospitaled,serum total TColestrol(TC), triglycerinate(TG),low density lipoprotein(LDL-C),high density lipoprotein(HDL-C), lipoprotein a[LP(a)],blood suger were all tested .All cases were noted coronary severity scores by Gensini according to CAG. Another 4 tissue without AS plaque from the celiac aorta of those who denoted kidney were taken as control group ,they were tested as the tissue of study group.Statistical analysis were made by SPSS12.0 software, The association of nucler factor-KB and AS were analyzed by Spearman correlation ,linear correlation.Results The test showed that NF-kB expressed obviously in the karyon in the tissue of study group .however ,it didn't express or less espress in the cytoplasm in the control group.
