Background:Ventricular remodeling(VRM) after myocardial infarction(MI) is increasing of cardiac weight and volume or morphous change which are caused by myocardial and interstitial alteration gradually after myocardial damage.Left ventricular remodeling is the most important reason of cardiac dilatation,cardiac insufficiency and mortality rate increase after myocardial infarction.During six weeks after MI, infarction area expansion and regional ventricular extension are called early VRM. There are drugs,thrombolysis and revascularization to treat VRM generally,but these treatments can't handle it satisfyingly.Many studies demonstrate thoracic epidural block (TEB) is new potential therapy which can prevent and treat myocardial disease probably.Objectiv:To investigate effects of TEB on cardiac function,left ventricular parenchymal,interstitial remodeling and to provide experimental evidences for its clinical application.Methods:Sixty rabbits with normal ECG established TEB model were randomly divided into three groups(n=20):sham operation group(S group),...
