Objective : To study the Correlation of detrusor function with the vesicoureteral reflux in patiens with BPH obstruction. Methods: From Jan. 2001 to Dec. 2005 , After SPECT was performed, 55 patients with BPH whose degree of obstruction was III or more were evaluated . Pressure-Flow micturition studies were undertaken in 34 patients (group A) who were found non-vesicoureteral reflux, and the pressure-folw micturition studies were performed on the others (group B) who were founnd vesicoureteral reflux .Result: The average age of group A was (69.3±5.4)years old , group B being(7±7.4) ; The obstruction of group A was III degree in 8 , IV in 12, Vin 9 and VI in 5 patients, while which of group B was III in 6, IV in 5, Vin 4, VI in 6 in patients of group B ;The average residual urine was (109.3±77.1) ml versus (243.9±153.7) ml; There were 17 detrusor instabilities (50%) in group A versus 8 (38%) in the group B ;Low bladder compliance was found in 5 (14.7%) of group A versus 16 (71.6%) of group B. Both detrusor instabilities and low bladder compliance wrer found in 1 (2.9%) of group A whereas 5(23.8%) of group B. With statistical analysis, patients with vesicoureteral reflux had...
