So many people have paid attention to Chinese medicinal herb, and applied it to animal husbandry.As Traditional Chinese Medicine goes,"kidney storing essence, mastering reproduction",therefore, all of this kinds of traditional Chinese medicine enhance animal's reproductive ability. Epimedium is a commonly used Chinese medicinal herb for invigorating the kidney. It has the effect of reinforcing kidney to strengthen yang. And it can cure dysgenesia and enhance uberty in clinical practice. ICA is a chief effective ingredient of Epimedium. Modern pharmaco-research suggested that ICA can enhance animal's uberty as well. So we want to study the effect of ICA on reproductive system in female rat, and try to reveal the mechanism of"reinforcing kidney to strengthen yang"of Epimedium. I hope this study could direct exploitation of Epimedium.
