Investigation Of The Interrelation Between Different Syndrome Patterns Of TCM And Seminal Plasma Zinc In Infertility Male

Objective: Study the interrelation between different syndrome patterns of Traditional Chinese Medicine in male sterility sufferers and seminal plasma zinc measured value. Also to provide an objectivity reference lab index for syndrome pattern of TCM in male sterility sufferers Method: We select 69 married male patients which comply to the study requirements. We divide these cases into five groups according to the standard of differentiation of symptoms and signs for classification of syndrome. These groups are: deficiency of kidney-YANG (17cases) ;deficiency of kidney-YIN (14 cases); phlegmatic hygrosis (18cases); stagnation of liver-QI and blood stasis (15cases); inclusion two or more patterns of syndromes(5cases). We carry on measuring seminal plasma zinc and CASA in semen collected by the subjects. All data is treated with SPSS 12.0 software and the result is expressed with mean±standard deviation ((?)±s). Measurement data is treated with One-Way ANOVA.Effect: Through One-Way ANOVA testing, we can find seminal plasma Zinc in phlegmatic hygrosis is significant lower than which in deficiency of kidney-YIN (p＜0. 05) and stagnation of liver-QI and blood stasis (p＜0. 05). Seminal plasma zinc between other syndrome patterns of Traditional Chinese Medicine has no statistical difference(p＞0. 05). There are 42.03% with in the abnormity scope. The remaining 57.97% is with in normal scope about the measured value of seminal plasma zinc out of 69 male sterility sufferersConclusion: Seminal plasma zinc measured value has some interrelation between different syndrome patterns of Traditional Chinese Medicine in male sterility sufferers.
