| In this paper, the chemical constituents and pharmacological activities of pulp of Acanthopanax senticosus( Rupr. et Maxim) Harms were studied. As Chinese medicine, the dry roots rhizomes, stems, leaves and pulp of Acanthopanax senticosus (Rupr. et Maxim) Harms has been widely applied.According to the references, a few compounds were isolated and identified as so far, such as steroid, triterpenoid, and so on.Not yet reported about the chemical constituents from the pulp of Acanthopanax senticosus (Rupr. et Maxim) Harms, modern pharmacyological studies showed that the herb had the effects of benefiting Cardiovascular, immune function, anti-fatigue and anti-tumor effect. In order to find out more new chemical constituents furtherly in the pulp of Acanthopanax senticosus (Rupr.et Maxim) Harms and develop the accurate pharmacological activities, our group gave a comprehensive researches. The research methods and results as follows: Firstly, the pulp of Acanthopanax senticosus (Rupr.et Maxim) Harms, collected in Mt.Changbai, were extracted with 85% alcohol.Secondly, the alcohol solution were evaporated with distillation method at normal pressure in order to be concentrated. Thirdly, the concentrated solution was dissolved with water. Then, the water solution was extracted with petroleum ether, chloroform, acetic ether and n-butyl alcohol respectively at room temperature. Finally, 8 compounds were obtained from three extracted parts, which were dealt with silica gel chromato- gramphy by using several kinds of solvent systems and recrystallizing repeatly. Among of them,7 compounds′structures were established and identified on the basis of chemical and spectroscopic evidence(1HNMR,13CNMR). They are catechol (â… ),β-Sitosterol (â…¡), (-)-sesamin (â…¢), stigmasterol (â…£), 12-hydroxy stearic acid (â…¤), 6,7-dimethoxycoumarin (â…¥), Scopoletin (â…¦). Compoundâ… ,â…¤,â…¥andâ…¦are all separated in this plant firstly. The pharmacological activities of the extraction and its total saponin were studied. The result showed that both of them from the pulp of Acanthopanax senticosus (Rupr.et Maxim) Harms had the effects of reducing high blood lipids role. |
