Ischemic heart disease is kind of metabolic disease, which is caused by the ischemia or anoxia, the cardiac contraction and dilation are in repression and the energy metabolism of the cardiac cell is blocked. Levocarnitine is commonly occurring in the tissue of the body that functions in long-chain fatty acid transport across membranes to matrix of the mitochondrion. Through theβ-oxidation to the tricarboxylic acid cycle, the energy is produced.Commonly , the energy of the adult heart is produced by the free fatty acid across theβ-oxidation.The Levocarnitine is supplied from the blood and the heart tissue can not synthesis it.To improve the fatty acid metabolism is better than to improve the glycometabolism for the ischemic heart disease. To study the effect of the Levocarnitine in the preconditioned ischemic rats on the ultrastructure of myocardium and long last calcium channel. The rats are random divided into control groups , Levocarnitine group, dihydrochloride group. After ischemic models prepared,to observed the ultrastructure of ischemic myocardium within the groups by optical, and detection of the influx of calcium in Long last Calcium channel by patch clamp.Levocarnitine can protect the ultrastructure of ischemic myocardium, and inhibit the influx of calcium on the Long last Calcium channel.Levocarnitine can reduce the quality and severity in ischemic myocardium, the possible mechnism is to protect the mitochondria, stablize the oxidation, inhibit the Long last Calcium channel of ischemic ventricular myocyte ,then reduce the calcium injury by the calcium overload. The study declares that the improvement of the metabolism of the ischemic heart maybe the innovative and effective methods to treat the ischemic heart disease, which can enhance the the high risk patient to intolerant the ischemical condition and adapt to the injury.
