| Balance is a basic human exercise skill. Balance function is especially important to retain all kinds of gestures and action in a daily life, and to proper reaction to external interference. The impairment of balance function affects allomeric function of human and even impossibly leads to fall down. Balance function is an important function of human. All kinds of action in a daily life, such as standing and walking, depend on effective balance. It is governed by central nervous system and adjusted by various reflex activity, peripheral proprioceptive sense and optesthesia, besides of coordinating construction among muscle groups. Thus, balance is a set of complex course. To keep normal balance, brain needs introduce sensory information from visual system, vestibular system and proprioceptive sense of body, and brain accordingly sends out signal to propotional muscle group which keeps on balance of bearing surface. With increasing of age, balance function gradually decreases and especially from RA patient there are many phenomena including unsteadiness of standing and walking, decreasing scope of joint movement and weakness of absolute muscle ability and ligament elasticcity. These phenomena are main reasons for falling and falling is an important reason for damage and other disease, which bring extreme pain to people, and big burden to family and society. In a word, balance function is important in human's life. Objective The purpose of this study is to observe the effect of balance function of static in patients with rheumatoid arthritis ability to change the postural control, forecasting patients tend to fall ,and formulate training programme about corresponding rehabilitation. Method Date on postural balance were collected from these early patients who were diagnosed according to American Rheumatology Association criteria have treated by our division in 2005 to 2007,and remove other factor and disease of effect balance capability of patient, these patient is 24. According to age, gender and body mass index(BMI),to select normal people who is 24 to matched-pairs research for project(s). A commercially available computer-based system was named Good balance which was made in Metitur Ltd Finland was used force platform test, which the machine can describe the posturograph about swing condition when center of gravity have changed. As part of a comprehensive health survey, postural balance was measured with the help of a force platform system in three test conditions: normal standing with eyes open and closed, semi-tandem. In addition, we record some parameter, including to distance along X> Y axis, mean speed along X,Y axis, direction of main axis Length of a side of a square, Radius of Circle, Horizontal distance, Vertical distance, Velocity moment, and the software system have finished standardize about date. Result These parameter was analysed by paired-sample T-test when was compared between group and to matched-pairs T-test inner group. It is conspicuous significance when P is less than 0.05.Among these parameter, including to distance along X,Y axis, rectangle area, direction of main axis, radius of circle have a conspicuous statistics significance. Group of RA is higher than normal group, and as well as Romberg rate about rectangle area when subjects with the eyes open and closed. Mean speed along X,Y axis is no statistics significance. The result of semi-tandem is between result with the eyes open and closed. Inner group of RA, the three condition, distance along X,Y axis, mean speed along X,Y axis, rectangle area and Vertical distance have a statistics significance(P<0.05),name!y the capacity with the eyes open is better than the eyes closed .Conclusion Distance along X,Y axis, mean speed along X,Y axis, direction of main axis, rectangle area, Radius of Circle, Vertical distance may be the suitable parameters for detecting balance problem in patients with RA. |
