Objective:In order to understand the prevalence, distribution, risk factors of hypertension, and epidemiological investigation was conducted among the residents in Hangzhou city.SUBJECTS AND METHODS:In this study,Adopted the methods of stratified cluster sampling, choose the representative two streets in city and two towns in countryside from Hangzhou city. 7200 people above 15 years old were extracted,finally,6978 effective questionnaires were obtained;valid respondent rate was 96.9%.The data was input in Epidata3.1 software, and SPSS 15.0 software was used to carry out Descriptive statistic,Chi-square test, the tendency Chi-square test was implemented through SAS9.0 software. While structural equation model, which was establishment cause and effects of hypertension and its relative influence factors was analyzed by using AMOS4.0 produced by the company SmallWater.Main Results(1)General features of prevalence of hypertensionThe prevalence rate of hypertension in Hangzhou was 21.0%(95%CI:20.2%~21.9%),and the hypertension prevalence rate advanced along with the age gradually increases, from 45 years old the prevalence rate rise scope to be obvious. In or above 75 years old,the prevalence of hypertension approached 50%.Before 15 to 65 years old,the prevalence rate of man was 19.1%, while the female was 15.5%,and there was statistical difference between them(x~2=5.62,p<0.05).However,above 65 year old,the hypertension prevalence rate of male is 40.3%,the female is 47.3%,the feminine prevalence rate is higher than the male with statistical difference(x~2=6.18, p<0.05).(2)The relative influencing factors of hypertensionBased on theories of building structural equation modeling, six acceptable and competitive models were built in this study, and these models were evaluated by standard coefficient,x~2,GFI,AGI, CFI,RMSEA and its 95%confidence interval et al,Then Maximal Likelihood method was used to compare these models. The comparison showed that model one was the best one of these six models and its GFI,AGFI,NFI,CFI,RMSEA and its 95%confidence interval were 0.947 0.941, 0.976,0.968,0.031 and 0.016-0.039 respectively. These results indicated model one was fit well. Meanwhile, the final model results showed somatotype, the family history of hypertension, the family economy status, bad life behavior, good life behavior et al had direct effect on hypertension, Of these direct effects, somatotype indirectly affected hypertension through bad life behavior, the family economy status and life stress.Furthermore, bad life behavior as well as good life behavior also indirectly influenced hypertension through family economy. Finally,it was concluded that the main factors influencing hypertension were somatotype, the family history of hypertension, family economy status and bad life behavior. The standardized coefficients of their total effects on behavioral problems were 0.48,041,-0.34,0.30 respectively.Conclusions(1)The prevalence rate of hypertension in Hangzhou was 21.0%,and the hypertension prevalence rate advanced along with the age gradually increases, from 45 years old the prevalence rate rise scope to be obvious.(2)The risk factors of hypertension in Hangzhou People were somatotype, the family history of hypertension, bad life behavior including drinking and high salt intake et al,sugar-intake behavior, while the protective factors of hypertension were good life behavior such as drinking tea and physical activities, family economy status.(3)It reveals that these effects had direct and indirect influence of hypertension factors by using structural equation modeling, and the final models fit well.
