| Objective:To investigate the changes of CD4+CD25+regulatory T cells (Treg)in peripheral blood of patients with obstructive jaundice and its significances. Methods:The subset of peripheral blood T lymphocyte cells(PBTLCs) and Treg were analyzed for 34 patients with OJ,22 cases without jaundice and 20 cases controls by flow cytometry. And the levels of serum IL-10 and TGF-β1 were detected by ELISA(Enzyme Linked Immunosorbent Assay). It was also analyzed for the correlations between Treg and IL-10,TGF-β1 and jaundice time,TBIL degree.Results:(1)While Treg,IL-10 and TGF-β1 in OJ group was significantly higher than that in no jaundice and controls groups(P<0.01 in all),the levels of CD3+,CD4+ T Cell,CD4+/CD8+ and NK Cell in those was significantly lower (P<0.01).The levels of Treg,IL-10 and TGF-β1 in patients with malignant OJ was higher than that in benign counterparts(P<0.01);(2)The levels of Treg,IL-10 and TGF-β1 in OJ group was increased with jaundice time(P<0.01 or P<0.05).When TBIL>171μmol/L,the levels of Treg,IL-10 and TGF-β1 in OJ group was significantly increased(P<0.01);(3)In OJ patients, the variation in the Levels of Treg,IL-10,TGF-β1 and TBIL were significantly negative correlated with that of CD3+,CD4+,CD8+T Cell and NK Cell. And the variation of the levels of Treg,IL-10,TGF-β1 and TBIL were significantly positive correlated with each other.Conclusions:(1)The immune function of OJ patients is low,and is noticeably correlated with the degree of their diseases.(2)The level of peripheral blood Treg in patients with OJ is significantly increase, and this may play an important role in immune dysfunction of their bodies.(3)The variation in the number of peripheral blood Treg in OJ patients is significantly correlated with the degree of this disease. |
