Clinical Study On The Effects Of Spastic Paralysis After Apoplexy With Electroacupuncture On Scalp And Body

Objective:To explore the effectiveness of electroacupuncture of scalp and body to spastic paralysis atfer stroke. To look for a kind of more effeetive acupuncture method.Methods:Divide 60 patients with spasticity of limb after stroke to 2 groups. The trestment group adopt electroacupuncture of scalp and body and the control group adopt traditional acupunture of scalp and body. All the patients were treated one time a day. A period of treatment was 10 times and both treated 3 periods. Modified Ashworth scale,the Barthel index of ADL and Brunstrom scale are adopted to evaluate the effectiveness. Results: After 3 periods of treatment, the symptom of patients in 2 groups such as flexible myospasm of upper limbs, straight myospasm of lower limbs, flexion and contracture of fingers, foot drop and strephenopodia are all improved.The clinical observation shows that modified Ashworth scale,the Barthel index of ADL and Brunstrom scale of the 2 groups are all improved . The improvement of tretment group is superior to the observation group .Conclusions:Electroacupuncture of scalp and body can improve the spasticity of limbs after stroke , it can improve the spasticity,motion function and ability of activity.Therefore it improve the quality of patients life.
