Studies On Water Soluble Chemical Constituents In The Viola Yedoensis MAKINO

Viola yedoensis MAKINO is recorded in《Qian Jin Fang》the earliest,the whole grass of perennial herb of Violaceae Viola,widely Locates in the northeast,north,central of most parts of China.And resource-riched,can be harvested in spring,summer and autumn.The whole plant may be medicine.Withing the effect of heat-clearing and detoxifying.There are many kinds of compounds in this herb,such as polysaccharides,flavonoids and their glycosides,phenolic constituents,carbohydrates, amino acids, coumarins and many other active ingredients,and so on.Modern pharmacology show that, Viola yedoensis MAKINO has strong antibacterial effect in vitro and in vivo,and strong antioxidant effect on the hydroxyl radical scavenging effect,and has some role in anti-HIV. Viola yedoensis MAKINO is an important resource of the well health care products,cosmetics,medicine,as our traditional Chinese medicine,it has the value of a comprehensive development and utilization.The significance of this research topics are: Viola yedoensis MAKINO has a wide range of effects,and now,less studies on water-soluble part of Viola yedoensis MAKINO is reported. Therefore,in this paper,some of the components have been studied,some references are provided for the development of Viola yedoensis MAKINO.According to the reference,many compounds are isolated and identified as so far,such as esculetin,β-sitosterol,Chlorogenic acid,flavone C-Glycosides and so on.It fulfills the functions of detoxification and damp elimination.It shows great effects on the treatments of urinary tract infection,sore throat,bacillary dysentery,snakebite,some cancers and so on.This paper is mainly about the isolation and identification of the compounds from Viola yedoensis MAKINO.The results as follow:we used Macroporous resin,Silica gel column as the separation means,and seven compounds were obtained from this herb.Among of them,five compounds'structures were established and identified on the basis of chemical and spectroscopic evidencec, Which four are the coumarin compounds,and one is the flavonoid glycoside:They are Aesculetin;Scopoletin;Apigenin 6,8-Di-C-β-D-glucopyranoside (Vicenin- 2);Cichoriin and Aesculin. Cichoriin and Aesculin are got from this plant the first time.
