The paper aims to study the effects and shortcomes of drugstore trusteeship from the theory of drugstore trusteeship and practical situation.Methods Theoretical analysis is based on the references from the data on drugstore trusteeship .The case study is from ten small and medium-sized hospitals . The operation pattern is that the hospital entrust management of drugstore to a enterprise while keeping its property and artificial person unchanged. The enterprise must guarantee to provide all drugs for clinical use.Results (1) The results of theoretical analysis showed that it is feasible for drugstore trusteeship from theory under the condition of the enterprise taking on drug purchase, dstribution and routine management while all businesses operations going along as usual in dugstore.(2).The case study from ten small and medium-sized hospitals ,showed . the hospital' s revenue increased from 20% to 45% after drugstore trusteeship..(3)It was more reasonable for drug use in hospitals after drugstore trusteeship., compared with that before drugstore trusteeship..(4)The drug fee cost by patients was diminished obviously, after drugstore trusteeship., compared with that before drugstore trusteeship..Conclusions (1)This paper suggest that it was feasible of the implement pattern of drugstore trusteeship. (2)Practice experience indicated that drugstore trusteeship is helpful to increase the income of hospitals, and diminished the economic burdens of patients..This measure has obtained the satisfied effect.
