Current Situation And Influence Factor Research Of AIDS Health Education Of Urban Community In Yunnan Province

Background:The worldwide epidemic of AIDS has become the serious public health problem and the prominent social problem to threaten the people health and safety in the recent 30 years.At present,as a result of no effective prevention vaccine and the thorough cure medicine to AIDS,the health education has become the most effective preventive means.Objectives:To understand the status quo of AIDS health education of the urban community,to explore the influence factors of carrying out the AIDS health education and table a science proposal,to quest effective,economic and sustainable development operation mode of urban community health education of AIDS.Contents and methods:This research uses the cross-sectional survey design to collect data by the methods of the quantitative structured questionnaires and qualitative individual in-depth interviews,focus on the demand of residents about the community health education of AIDS and the work contents and the status quo of mastering the related knowledge of AIDS health education of the community health workers,to explore the influence factors of carrying out the AIDS health education.Results and findings:The community residents have the demand of AIDS health education.The community health workers are mainly working in forms of part-time and have different understanding erroneous zone to the health education.They have the huge demand for training.The community workers don't grasp good enough about the AIDS-related knowledge.Different community health workers have different knowledge awareness about AIDS health education.The factors which affect the community health workers to develop the AIDS health education are lacking health education professionals and funds,the community health worker's existing AIDS health education knowledge cannot well satisfied the demand of the residents and the work.Discussion:Basing on the community,to establish the platform of the community health education of AIDS prevention and control.In view of the high demand of the residents for the community AIDS health education,the work of AIDS prevention and control has a large lap with the requirement.The development of the AIDS health education work is great influenced by the environment support,human,finance and material and so on.Recommendation:To improve the understanding,clear the objectives,standardize the management,to perfect the entire province or regional AIDS health education mechanism.To strengthen the health education professional team construction and training.To strengthen the department cooperation,explore the multi-forms way to raise the funds.To developing various forms,planned,organized,systematic AIDS health education.To mobilize the populace widely to participate,establish and improve the operation mode of the urban community health education of AIDS...
