Research On Efficacy Of Acute Bronchial Asthma With The Qufeng Pingchuan Decoction

Objective:To observe the influence of Qufeng Pingchuan Decoction for acute attack of bronchial asthma patients with clinical symptoms and signs score and serum eosinophils,immunoglobulin E and lung function(FEV₁,FVC,FEV₁/FVC,PEF₅₀).Methods:60 cases of the acute attack of asthma severity classification standards with mild to moderate patients were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group.The treatment group with Qufeng Pingchuan Decoction intergrated Western medicine,the control group with conventional Western medicine alone,the treatment consisits 7 days.And the two groups of patients with acute exacerbation of asthma symptoms,signs,serum eosinophils,immunoglobulin E and lung function are observed.Results:1.The treatment group and the control group after treatment those of clinical symptoms and signs such as begma,stethocatharsis,gasping,chest tightness,pharyngeal symptom and wheezing tale were significantly improved (p＜0.05),but there are no significant differences in the total efficiency of the two groups(P＞0.05),and for symptoms such as gasping,chest tightness, pharyngeal symptom,the treament group better than the control group(P＜0.05), another symptoms such as begma,stethocatharsis,wheezing rale are no significant differences in the two groups(P＞0.05);2.The count of peripheral blood EOS in the treatment group after treatment can be declined,the difference was significant(P＜0.05),but the treament group after treatment and before treatment level of EOS is no significant difference(P＞0.05),and the level of EOS of the treament group lower than the control group(P＜0.05); 3.The count of peripheral blood IgE in the treatment group and control group after treatment can be declined,the difference was significant(P＜0.05), and the level of IgE of the treament group lower than the control group(P＜0.05) 4.Qufeng Pingchuan Decoction on lung function is significant impact.Lung function indicators FEV₁,FVC,FEV₁/ FVC,PEF₅₀ of two groups decreased pre-treatment but significantly increased after treatment,the difference was significant(P＜0.05),indicating a significant improvement in lung function,but the two sets of indicators of lung function after treatment showed no significant difference(P＞0.05).Conclusion:1.The treatment group combined with oral theophylline treatment the acute attack of asthma the dialectical fengxiao of patients was more significant improvement than simple use of theophylline,such as breathing, chest tightness,itching,significantly improve the control rate of clinical treatment.2.The treatment group can reduce the count of peripheral blood EOS better than the control group;3.The treatment group can reduce the count of peripheral blood IgE better than the control group;4.The treatment group combined with oral theophylline treatment and the simple use of theophylline, can be significantly improved in lung function.
