| Objective:To divide the acute herpes zoster patients into the Fire Needle Group and the Basic Acupuncture Group through random controlled way.To observe the contrast of clinical curative effect between the two groups,in order to authenticate the clinical curative effect in the treatment of acute herpes zoster with fire needle.Method:Divide the 60 acute herpes zoster patients who meet the standards of the disease's diagnosis Through random controlled way of study,into two groups:the Fire Needle Group and the Basic Acupuncture Group(the former: n=30,male 12,female 18,aged 19-69,average 44.93.the latter:n=30,male 11, female 19,aged 19-69,average 42.83).Method:1.The Fire Needle Group:(1)Chosing acupoints:The ashi points around the skin injury,the corresponding Jia-ji points of the related diseased nerves, the Zhigou points(SJ6)and Houxi points(SI3) on both sides.(2) Manipulation: Heat the fire needle on the spirit lamp until burn red for degree,and prick into the center of ashi points with the depth of 0.2 to 0.3cm after the skin sterilization.The praecox herpes should be pricked first.Extrude the herps liquid after fast insertion,and apply Wanhua oil on the herps.After caloripuncture,insert the needles around the area of skin injury after sterilization.The needle tip is directed towards the center of skin injury with an angle of 15 degree.Insert the needles on the Jia-ji points,Zhigou points and Houxi points.The depth of needles in Jia-ji points should be 0.8～1cm with the direction towards spinal column.After the arrival of qi,connect the needles to the Han's Electric Acu-point Stimulator for 30 minutes.The parameter of the stimulator is direct current for 2/100HZ,2～5mA.The treatment above should be arranged once a day,10 days as a course of treatment.2.The Basic Acupuncture Group:The acupoints chosen are the same as the Fire Needle Group.The method of operation is also the same as the Fire Needle Group expct the ashi points don' t need fire needle pricking.The treatment above should be arranged once a day,10 days as a course of treatment.After the treatment, observe the blister evaluating criterions(including the time for blister ceasing to grow and the time of its incrustation and decrustation),neuralgia evaluating criterions(including the degree of easement of pain,the time for its relief beginning,durante dolors and the effect of instant analgesia), the grading for synthetic therapeutic effect of herpes zoster,the incidence of Postherpetic Neuralgia(PHN) as well as the treatment's safety.Result:1.No statistic difference is observed in the pain streng and the grading for synthetic therapeutic effect of herpes zoster between two groups after the first treating.2.Differences is observed in the time for blister ceasing to grow and the time of its incrustation and decrustation between the two groups(P＜0.05).The Fire Needle Group is more advantageous in this comparison.But no statistic difference is observed in the grading for synthetic therapeutic effect of herpes zoster between two groups after treating.3.No statistic difference is observed in the time for its relief beginning and durante dolors between the two groups.4.The time for instant analgesia between the two groups is similar,but the former is more advantageous in the duration of analgesia.5.No statistic difference is observed in the incidence of PHN between the two groups,which cann' t prove that the fire needle treating has the predominance in reducing the incidence of PHN.6.The result of evaluating treatment's safety indicates the two therapeutics are both safe.Neither patient in the two groups has adverse reaction.Conclusion:The Fire Needle therapy has superior curative effect in treating acute herpes zoster,especially in improving the time course of herps and in the duration of analgesia.It has high clinical value,and is worth wide application. |
