| Objective: The study observed and researched the patients with spleen deficiency, the dampness heat type acute herpes zoster herpes and the degree of pain by using the fire needle combined with the cupping therapy, thus screening out accurately the best acupuncture method to guide clinical practice more effectively. Methods: 60 patients who met the criteria were randomly divided into treatment and control groups of 30 patients each. The treatment group were treated with milli fire needle combined with cupping method by selecting the herpes local Ashi points, and the controlling group were treated with acupuncture by selecting the points of Ashi, Jiaji, Gou, yinlingquan, Neiting, Xuehai, Quchi and Hegu. After one course(10 days), the two groups patients symptoms and signs both before and after the treatment were observed and the comprehensive curative effects were evaluated based on the herpes scores and the pain evaluation index. Results: The herpes scores and pain evaluation indexes of the two groups after treatment were reduced than that before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05). By comparison, the total effective rate of treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group, and the results were statistically significant(P < 0.05). Conclusion: This study shows that the two groups of treatment can reduce in different degree the comprehensive score of herpes, herpes check scab, scab, scab off time and pain evaluation index, but compared with ordinary acupuncture group, the effects of the fire needle therapy combined with the fire pot group was significant, suggesting that the acupuncture method to improve the spleen dampness of herpes zoster in acute symptoms and signs is comparatively an ideal one. |
