The deformity of claw hand occurred with the MP joint hyperextension and IP joint flexion,because of the hand intrinsic muscle denervation and paralysis after ulnar nerve injury or combined with media nerve. The volume of hand intrinsic muscle is tiny, its muscle fiber or the nerves which control them is limited. Besides , when the injured nerve arrive, atrophy or fibrosis must happen ,the hand intrinsic muscle which is located to the body farthest ,donot have a great achievement any more. Because of the sever influence on the normal hand appearance or function,such as hand elexterity and strength, how to correct the malformation with efficiency was a great problem we had to face. The variety of procedures available have been used to correct the ulnar palsy clawing of the hand ,such as the power of foreram muscle can be used to reconstruct function of lumbricales and interosseous muscle .How to choose a proper method for clinical patient is a problem given to us. The objective of this article is to review the mechanism ,peration timing and methods of reconstruction of the deformity of claw hand.
