Iontophoresis Of Chinese Medicine On The White Lesions Of Vulva Clinical Observation

Objective:To research the clinical effect in treating vulvar white lesion of Fructus Cnidii Lotion by iontophoresis.Methods:48 patients of vulvar white lesion were divided into iontophoresis group and control group randomly.There was no significant difference in age and pathogenesis between two groups(p＞0.05).Patients in iontophoresis group were given Fructus Cnidii lotion on vulvar skin by iontophoresis.Patients in control group were given testosterone propionate ointment by external application.The treatment lasted three monthes.Change of clinical symptoms and histology were observed and evaluated.Statistical comparision was made between groups at last.Results:(1) Genital itching,dryness,pain and other symptoms have improved after treatment,and there was significantly difference compared with before(P＜0.05);(2) There was significantly difference of efficient in iontophoresis group(91.67%) and control group(62.50%)(P＜0.05);(3) Histological lesions have improved after treatment and the improvment of iontophoresis group was more effective than control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Chinese medicine iontophoresis can improve the clincal symptoms and histological lesion of atrophic vulvar white lesion significantly.It is an ideal medicine for treating the atrophic vulvar white lesion.
